Dallas Community Gathers to Clean Up Park

Saturday, March 1, 2014, The Friends of Reverchon Park, along with community volunteers and neighbors gathered to clean up the historic Reverchon Park.

Starting at 10:00am, volunteers cleared out trash, spread mulch, painted, removed underbrush and planted new flowers throughout the park. Following the clean-up, The Friends of Reverchon Park, together with other community sponsors provided picnic lunches to all volunteers.

The Friends of Reverchon Park is a nonprofit organization that was started in 2005. Their goal is to unite and educate the community about the 46-acre park that borders The Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. The Ashmore Law Firm’s Managing Attorney, Lori Ashmore Peters is President of The Friends of Reverchon; “Reverchon Park has a bright future. Help us, as we work together to restore and revitalize one of Dallas' most beautiful assets.”
